Dr Paul Maguire is Head of Innovation & Knowledge Transfer at Technological University Dublin and Lead Partner for the Dublin Region Innovation Consortium (DRIC). He brings extensive experience in entrepreneurship and knowledge transfer, having led a med-tech start-up (Arann Healthcare), overseen a semiconductor-focused venture, and been instrumental in the multi-million euro trade sale of technology assets Since joining TU Dublin Innovation in 2013, Dr Maguire has delivered 13 spin-outs, over 30 licenses and assignments, and secured more than €4.5 million in commercial research funding . He holds a BEng (Electronics) and PhD in Optical Communications from DCU, plus an MSc in Technology Management and Innovation from UCD’s Smurfit Business School .
