Current cloud productivity platforms, including Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 and Overleaf, require users to trust the platform provider with access to document content. In many cases, providers can access plaintext data for operational purposes or may be legally compelled to disclose customer data under legislation such as the U.S. CLOUD Act.

InvizCrypt removes this dependency through an end-to-end encrypted architecture in which document encryption keys are stored only in encrypted form on the platform and are decrypted exclusively within the user's browser. Documents are compiled locally using a WebAssembly-based LaTeX engine, enabling PDF generation without transmitting document content to a server. During real-time collaboration, all document updates are exchanged in encrypted form, ensuring that the platform processes only encrypted data and has no access to document contents.

InvizCrypt will initially enter the market as a secure collaborative LaTeX editor, addressing a segment where Overleaf alone serves more than 20 million users and generates an estimated US$9–40 million in annual revenue. Building on this foundation, the platform will expand into a sovereign productivity suite encompassing documents, spreadsheets and collaborative workflows for organisations handling highly sensitive information, including those in healthcare, legal, financial and public-sector sectors. This positions InvizCrypt to address a global cloud productivity software market valued at more than US$50 billion annually through a differentiated, privacy-first architecture.
