With a PhD in Computer Science and a Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching and Learning he possesses subject knowledge grounded in pedagogical best practices. He has received five Teaching and Learning Fellowships at Maynooth University along with a prestigious teaching excellence award. As Head of Department and Chair of the University Academic Discipline Board, he has shaped policy and guided educators on ethical AI use. His experience in curriculum development, integrity governance, and student success ensures ScholarAI embeds robust ethical frameworks and institutional adoption strategies. His reputation and leadership add credibility and strategic depth to the project.
