Dr. Jawla has a strong interdisciplinary background bridging artificial intelligence, physics, and real-world applications. They have successfully defended their PhD in Artificial Intelligence at Technological University Dublin, Ireland, and holds an MSc in Physics from Leipzig University, Germany. Their employment includes lecturing in Machine Learning and Deep Learning at Dublin Business School, where they also supervise MSc AI thesis students. As a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Early Stage Researcher, they worked on Bayesian deep learning, anomaly detection, and human-AI collaboration in safety-critical scenarios. Their industry experience includes an ML/AI internship at InbestMe (Barcelona), developing reinforcement learning models for portfolio optimization, and a research internship at Forschungszentrum Jülich on energy time-series dimensionality reduction.
