I recently completed my PhD at TU Dublin under the joint supervision of Prof. Maria Chiara Leva and Dr. Anders L. Madsen (CEO, HUGIN Expert A/S), focusing on AI-based decision support systems for process industries. My academic foundation encompasses a licence and master's degree in mathematics with specialisation in artificial intelligence, providing both the theoretical depth and applied engineering capability required for this translational project. I have authored and co-authored 13 peer-reviewed publications at international conferences and in recognised journals, covering Bayesian network modelling, probabilistic decision support, and human factors in safety-critical industrial systems.
During my doctoral research I developed Bayesian network-based alarm filtering tools, built control room simulators, and evaluated operator situational awareness using physiological monitoring and eye-tracking technology. This multidisciplinary background in probabilistic reasoning, thermodynamic process modelling, and human-machine interaction directly underpins the proposed project.
