Dr. Maryam Norouzi is a Research Fellow at the CONNECT Centre and with the School of Engineering, Trinity College Dublin. Her research focuses on mm-Wave Doppler radars, remote sensing, passive microwave structures and additive manufactured sensors. Dr. Norouzi holds a M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tehran (2014 and 2021, respectively). In 2020, she completed a research sabbatical at the University of Waterloo, Canada, focusing on printable zero-power wireless sensors using cold spray technology for structural health monitoring. Her industrial experience includes roles at HONGFA in China and an Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure company in Iran. With a unique combination of academic and industrial expertise, Dr. Norouzi brings a strong foundation to developing innovative IoT-enabled radar technologies for environmental monitoring.
