Dr. Fabiano Pallonetto is a Professor of Management Information Systems at Maynooth University and Programme Director of the MSc in Business Analytics. He holds a PhD in Energy Management and a Master’s in Computer Science. His research focuses on sustainable energy systems, AI, and data-driven optimisation in transport and mobility. Dr. Pallonetto has extensive commercial experience, having co-founded two startups in sustainable transport and energy. He has led EU-funded projects and collaborates with industry partners on solutions that align with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Through this translational project, he aims to advance EV battery sustainability, optimise fleet operations, and support second-life battery supply chains.
