Dr. Stephen Ryan is a Data Scientist at Analytic Solutions Ireland and Postdoctoral Researcher in AI at the University of Limerick. He holds a PhD in Computer Science, an MSc in Computational Finance and Machine Learning, and a BSc from the University of Limerick. With extensive expertise in machine learning, statistical modeling, and data analytics, Stephen has applied advanced techniques to domains including healthcare, manufacturing, insurance, and digital twin technologies. He has managed data science teams, developed bespoke AI models, and deployed large-scale solutions on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP. Proficient in Python, SQL, and distributed systems like Spark, he has authored 10+ research papers and contributed to industry and academic projects. Stephen combines deep technical skills with leadership experience, guiding interdisciplinary teams and integrating AI into real-world applications.
