Prompt Me is a proactive AI agent that acts as a "copilot for product definition", supporting product managers and business analysts in eliciting, refining, and structuring software requirements. The system identifies ambiguity, detects missing information, prompts targeted clarification, and transforms unstructured inputs into actionable specifications such as user stories and acceptance criteria.
Unlike general-purpose AI assistants, Prompt Me is designed specifically for requirements engineering workflows and integrates directly with existing product development ecosystems, including tools such as Jira and collaboration platforms such as Slack and Microsoft Teams. It supports real-time requirement co-definition during stakeholder discovery sessions, backlog refinement, and Agile planning processes.
The project targets technology consultancies and software development organisations that conduct frequent client-facing discovery and requirements activities. Through pilot deployments, the project will validate proof of value by demonstrating reduced requirements-definition effort, improved backlog quality, and more effective integration between product discovery and software engineering workflows, creating the foundation for commercialisation.
