Dr. Alex Vakaloudis (Co-TR) is a Lecturer in Computer Science at MTU with prior industrial experience and over 10 years leading the Software & Enterprise Solutions team at the Nimbus Research Centre. He has delivered more than 100 production-level industrial projects on high TRLs ,across IoT, cloud computing, digital transformation, and enterprise software. He has been awarded one EI Commercialisation Fund and six Innovation Partnerships, yielding three licences, commercial IP assignments, and enterprise deployments across sectors, with additional funding from SFI, IRC, the Innovation Public Fund, Google, and AWS. He has co-authored the “Best Paper for ACM Health Journal” (2021) and received the MTU Industry Collaboration Award in 2023. Dr. Vakaloudis will serve as engineering lead and platform architect, ensuring the platform is built to production-grade, scalable, cloud-native standards from day one. He will commit 40% of his time to the project
