Dr. Cemalettin Ozturk (Lead TR) is a Logistics and Supply Chain Management Lecturer at MTU. His career spans both industry and academia, having held roles at Collins Aerospace Applied Research & Technology Ireland and the Insight Centre for Data Analytics at UCC before joining MTU. He has solved real operational problems across aerospace, automotive, aviation, maritime logistics, healthcare, and telecommunications, giving him first-hand understanding of the financial and operational pain that supply chain disruptions cause at the enterprise level. He holds a patent, has authored over 50 peer-reviewed publications, and has presented at business forums and industry events alongside academic venues. Dr. Ozturk will serve as both the technical and commercial lead of this project, owning customer discovery, market validation, investor engagement, and the commercialisation pathway. He will commit 40% of his time to this project. His entrepreneurial ambition is to spin out a supply chain analytics company from MTU and this project is the vehicle through which he intends to achieve that.
