Dr. Arman Farhang is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering at Trinity College Dublin, where he also earned his PhD in Wireless Communications in 2016. He previously held academic positions at Maynooth University and University College Dublin. He has authored over 60 peer-reviewed papers, 4 book chapters, an edited book, and holds 2 patents. He is Principal Investigator of NEW WAVE (New Waveforms for Next Generation Wireless Networks), funded by Science Foundation Ireland under the Frontiers for the Future programme. He is also affiliated with the SFI research centres ADVANCE-CRT and CONNECT, leading research in waveform design and multiple antenna systems for future wireless networks.His work focuses on novel physical layer technologies and advanced modulation schemes to deliver high reliability, low latency, and scalable wireless connectivity. A Senior Member of IEEE, Dr. Farhang also serves as Associate Editor of the EURASIP Journal on Wireless Communications and Networking.
