Dr Doyle is an established leader in HCI, digital health and ageing. Her research focuses on designing, implementing and evaluating digital health technologies that support older adults, including people with multimorbidity (two or more chronic conditions), and those who care for them. She has a strong record in co-design and stakeholder engagement, demonstrated through extensive Living Lab work at NetwellCASALA and ongoing Patient Public Involvement activities. Dr. Doyle has secured €8M as PI/Co-I and has successfully delivered complex, multi-stakeholder projects such as the INTERREG VA ECME programme, PeacePlus Health Frontiers Technology Innovation Centre, and Research Ireland-funded dementia initiatives. As institutional PI for the Horizon 2020 SEURO1 and ProACT2 projects, she led development and multi-country evaluation of the ProACT digital health platform (Doyle et al., 2025), providing the technical and clinical evidence base underpinning this TRP. Her track record demonstrates strong leadership, effective management of interdisciplinary teams and sustained engagement with health service partners.
