Dr. Libin Mathew is a dedicated researcher and a visionary bridge-builder between academia and industry. He earned his Ph.D. in Wireless Communication and Signal Processing from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, in 2020. He then worked as a Scientist at the Institute for Infocomm Research (I²R), A*STAR Singapore, where he led advanced projects in wireless communication and radar signal processing. He later served as a Teaching Fellow at Trinity College Dublin for two years and is now a Lecturer at South East Technological University (SETU), Carlow Campus.His research interests include wireless communication, 5G/6G, IoT, cognitive radio, radar systems, and machine learning. He has co-authored several reputable publications in IEEE Transactions and international conferences and also submitted a technology disclosure on a vital sign detection radar system during his time at A*STAR.
