Dr. Nhien-An Le-Khac is an Associate Professor at the School of Computer Science, University College Dublin (UCD) and Programme Director of the MSc in Forensic Computing and Cybercrime Investigation, an international programme for law enforcement officers with over 1,700+ graduates from 75 countries. He also co-founded the UCD-GNECB Postgraduate Certificate in Fraud and E-Crime Investigation. His research spans cybersecurity, digital forensics, AI security and forensics, fraud detection, and secure healthcare IT systems. Since 2013, he has led and collaborated on numerous national and international research projects as PI/co-PI, supervised nine PhD graduates, and published 3 books and 200+ peer-reviewed papers. He is an Associate Editor of Elsevier IoT journals and actively contributes to leading conferences and journals in his field. Assoc. Prof. is listed in 2024 World's Top 2% Scientists Rankings by Scopus/Stanford. He received UCD College of Science Teaching Excellence Award in 2023.
