Elizabeth M. Daly is a Senior Technical Staff Member and Research Manager leading the Interactive AI Group at IBM Research – Dublin, focusing on human-AI interaction, explainability, trustworthy and interactive AI systems
She also serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the School of Computer Science and Statistics at Trinity College Dublin, and her research team develops mechanisms enabling AI and humans to collaboratively negotiate common objectives in real-world contexts

She earned her Ph.D. in Computer Science from Trinity College Dublin in November 2007, completing a thesis titled “Social Network Analysis for Routing in Disconnected Delay-Tolerant MANETs”
