Prof. Jamie Goggins (TR) is an Established Professor of Civil Engineering at University of Galway
and Director of Construct Innovate, Ireland’s national research centre for construction technology
and innovation. A Chartered Engineer with more than 25 years’ experience across consultancy,
construction, and academia, he has led over 80 industry-engaged research projects with a
combined value of approximately €80 million. He has authored more than 200 peer-reviewed
publications. His expertise spans sustainable construction, structural engineering, lifecycle
assessment, and digital innovation in the built environment.
