Greenhouse horticulture is a globally significant and growing sector, covering an estimated 1.4–2 million hectares worldwide and valued at approximately USD 36 billion in 2025. Greenhouses generate extensive climate, fertigation, and yield data, but these data are often fragmented and poorly translated into timely operational decisions.

Agri-Immanence is an AI-enabled decision-support platform that combines greenhouse data, natural-language interaction, machine learning, and regional digital twins to deliver clear, explainable, and locally adaptive agronomic recommendations. It is designed to reduce fertiliser, irrigation, and energy use while improving yield consistency and crop performance.

Unlike conventional greenhouse software focused primarily on monitoring and reporting, Agri-Immanence turns fragmented data into actionable decisions tailored to individual growers and sites. The project will validate and refine the platform in operational greenhouse settings in Ireland and Spain, strengthen multi-site deployment, and extend its capabilities for cooperative-level forecasting and resource planning.

The work will advance Agri-Immanence from TRL 5 to TRL 8, providing the technical and commercial evidence needed for wider deployment. It will position Agri-Immanence as an Irish-developed SaaS platform for more sustainable, data-driven greenhouse production.
